Default OT-"squirrely" Corvette

Stopped by the paint shop to see how they're doing on wetsanding and buffing my Camaro's new paint job. The guy who does the work was trying to move a 1970 Corvette out of the shop and into a parking space. He was having a heck of a time as it sounded pretty radical, and was either stalling it, or spinning the tires.
I walked over to see what the problem was, and sticking out of the hood was a Weiand supercharger, and a big old Holley carb! I stood back and enjoyed the show until he got it moved, then went inside to talk with the owner. The Corvette was also back for polishing, and he said the owner has a well built 383 that's putting out about 600 hp, and a pressure plate that;'s so heavy it "makes your leg cramp up if you hold it too long!"
Bet that's fun to drive around in town, and try to ease it out at a traffic light!

I'm not high tech enough to know how to video, even though I'm pretty sure my phone can shoot videos. It was pretty funny though.
I'll try to remember to get some stills of the Corvette when I go back Sat. to pick up my car after they're done with the cut and buff.
Gotta take the guys at the shop some pizza for lunch, as token of my appreciation for the great work they've done on the car!

Yeah! I'm just glad I only have 5 blocks to drive mine home! Besides I still don't have door glass in it!
No, mine wont be totally done Sat., but it will be done at the body shop. My son and grandsons are coming over today to assist in installing all the chrome and trim, at least what we can in a cold garage!
