old mattress suspention!
ok lets put it like this, my car has never seen a suspention onther than the one it came with from the factory, and the other day while making a turn (sharp) i spoun out x2 sooooo.... i want to make it at least better...
i looked into an eibach suspention kit but i just don't have that kind of money right now so i decide that while i get through with college i would just improve it.
I thought that remplacing the shocks would reduce this problem (i feel like i'm driving on 2 wheels everytime i turn) but then i talked to a guy at a shop and he said that i should probably remplace the springs...,
i'm not really looking forward making the car handle like a porche but its my daily driver and i just want to improve it while i get rich...

i put new spring and bushings on my 73 and shocks, and it heped a lot. but it still leans a little to much for my taste so i'm saving up for new front and rear swaybars and a heavy duty shocks. oh and when i bought new springs i got the stock front spring rate and i got a 5 leaf rear springs in stead of the stock 4 leaf,oh and hotickes makes a complete spring set,go to yearone.com and look it up.
oh yeah? thas cool? how much did u pay for all of that?
anyways i'm not sure if this would fit your car but i looked into this suspention kit by eibach which i fount to be really good, pricy but good, its got the prokit for springs and antiroll bar kit, and some special shocks don't remeber of the top of my head, anyways thats what i want to put on it ultimately, for now i just want improvement, as it is my daily driver,
i know i should remplace the whole thing, shocks, springs, and swaybars but would changing just one or 2 of this give me a decent improvement?

i think it was around 800-900 dollars.i used mostly moog parts, and the rear springs are from ecklers camaro.com they are the 5 leaf's. and yes they will stiffen the hell out of your car.
Try these guys...had good luck with them http://www.p-s-t.com/gm.aspx
Also, I bought a "stage II" kit from here http://www.performancesuspension.com...nsion-kit.htmlfor my 70. And, a "stage IV" kit for the 68 Lemans. Once again, its not cheap, but even after 2 years it still feels very solid, very nice kit.
