Default New Ultra Avenger and fuel line

Open to some ideas. Im currently running a -6AN fuel line set-up. The new Ultra avengers has inline bronze filters in the bowls. This prevents me from using my current set-up because my extensions go directly into the bowls. What have you all done? I would hate to remove the bronze filters and an inline is what I wanted to get rid of.

Thanks,

I always dump those bronze filters, and go with inline filters. They're crap and easily plug up. I actually run two filters on an electric fuel pump system, and one on mechanicals. On electric pumps I put one before the pump and onbe after. On mechnicals I put one after the pump.

If your familair with the basic 4150 carbs, you know how it has those 7/8-20 adapters in the fuel bowl so you can run those cheapie 3/8" metal lines? Well if you pull those adapter out there are bronze filters in there. Older 4150s have the same set-up w/no filters. The fuel line I have now is tapered at the adapter end and not cupped like the stock adapters. Which means the room for the filters is non existent. I would like to run these filters because I would like the clean look of just the hose from the pump. Im open to ideas, there doesnt seen to be such a carb inlet extention to allow me to use them.

Just put the fuel filter down under the frame before it gets to the pump and you'll have a clean look and no bronze filters.

Do you have a fuel log or a "T" with two short pieces coming out? If you have a log, you can get a filter the threads on the end of it. Then it looks like part of the log and will most likely be hidden by the air cleaner any who.
