Default new here=D

hey guys im new here love the site, i am in the process of getting a 76 camaro with no engine. its a real straight car, i got it for 400 bucks also came with a 350 turbo tranny out of a 68 camaro. any suggestions

An engine.

a 350 perhaps?

welcome to the site,i would start with a 406 chevy and go from there,the more cubic inches the better u are off.

well i got a 350 with 70k miles lined up in tucson. soo i know a guy that makes those engines soo much power. so im thinkin ill go with the 350 with my dads aluminum corvette heads. and ill do a radical cam too. thanks all. and iLL95 i like a guy with a sense of humor haha.

Welcome to the forum!
What's the planned usage for the car? That's the determining factor in helping decide a route to take. I'd start with a plan written out, and a budget, then go from there to put together a way to get there. I'd never start a project just buying items without a plan first.

Default Plan it first

I am with BB on this. Gotta figure out what you are gonna use it for first, then get a plan on the best setup, then go get the parts. Best you can do is talk to guys in your area and see different setups. It will give you an idea of where you want to go with it and some of the problems they experienced on the way there.
