How much were you looking to spend? I know a good number of guys that are selling 70 - 73 cars. A friend of mine just sold his 72 SS with a 408 in it for 7k. The engine had over 9k in it alone. He just got tired of it.

right now I would like to trade my bike for one, here in the next couple of months I will have a couple $k to spend

my ideal trade would be for a 70-73 or 74-78 little to no rust, 5speed car, no drive train plus a little money for the bike
because I have a motor, and I'll just buy a trans, in other words I want a project car kinda thing ya know?

maybe around 4k if someone happens to buy the bike

I don't know the resale value of the Gixer, but getting a 70-73 with a 5 speeed may be a stretch. They didn't ever come with one so some one had to spend the extra coin to put one in. I have looked into it and for me with, using my bellhousing and clutch would be around 2500 for the swap.

I'm just worried about how the pedal set swap is done, (if its an auto)

I have some good pics way back in my thread of the z bar install. And could post some more of the pedals. There are a few in there somewhere after the hole is cut and the four speed hump sitting there.

77nomad, thats a very good write up, did the manual pedal assembly bolt up on the inside?
is there a kit for the swap?

Here is where the rod attaches to the pedal. And another shot of the colume seperated, so I could pull the auto pedals and intall the manual. There is a kit for pedals on ebay, the company is called Tamaraz.Name: 006-8.jpg

I'm going to look for a T56 trans, (I'm not too deep in chevys yet so I dont know) but will it work well with the clutch system in the 2nd gen camaro?
