Default New gage cluster for a 78

I've got a 78 Ralley Sport, and I've taken out the original gage cluster due to various broken parts. I'm in the process of buying a new one, and have a question
or two, namely, my old cluster doesn't have a tach, and I would like the new one to, and the one I'm looking at does, it's from a 76 z28 w/ tach and I was wondering if
it would fit correctly and if I would need to redo any wiring of any sort, or if I need a new plug or wires for the tach to work.

The gauges are on the standard location from 72-81, but the only difference is the plate that goes infront of it. That will not fit. Yes you will need to do some rewiring to get that tach to work. There is a pin on the distributor that you hook up the lead to the tach.
