Hello guys,

I am the proud owner of a 1973 Camaro. It originally an A/C car, but the previous owner did hack job removal much to my dismay.

Anyway I want to get the air back and I need the driver side half of the evaporator box to make it happen.

Anyone know where I could aquire what I need? No one seems to sell the evaporator box for a 1970-73 camaro and ebay has been useless.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not 100% sure but I think early 70's Chevelles and Novas had the same box but I'm not sure. I don't know anyone that makes one like the original but you can go through vintage air or hot rod air to buy full replacement kits. Maybe contact one of them and see what they have in that area. I had a catalog around here somewhere but I can't find it now. I think in my spring cleaning this past weekend I might've thrown it out.

 

Classic air might have them... or ecklars (spelling could be ecklers)
