Default need some help

Hey guys, I just did exhaust on my 80R/S and they dump off just before the axle. Problem that i have is my car is low and the mufflers rub the ground sometimes. Any one have some pics on where they have their muffler straps to. And i need pics on how you have the pipes by the tranny cross member as mine might have to be extended by the tranny cross member.

I don't have pics, but I am running mufflers that are full sized turbo style crossflow mufflers and no issues with scraping them. The kit I got from Summit uses a muffler that's about 4" thick, and sits under the rear seat area where the floor pan raises up. This allows the muffler to have more ground clearance and not scrape.
My 2.5" primary tubes are bent in from the headers towards the driveline, and run about 4"-5" away from the driveline on each side back to the mufflers. Routing them closer to the driveline gives a tad more clearance on those pipes too, and no rubbing with them either.
If you have headers (or want to put them on) the kit from Summit is a very cheap option, and I really like mine. Total cost was under $200 and I installed it under my car in one afternoon with basic hand tools.
