I put a lot of Big Blocks in Small Block cars and always had to use 1 long mount and 1 short mount to get Them to align. Moroso has different lengths of mounts to choose from. I always use solid mounts on the engine and rubber mounts on the trans on street cars and solid all the way on race cars.

 

always been a fan of the solid mounts. you definitely need the poly or rubber mount for the tranny or you will be very apt to crack your tranny case
