Default Master Cylinder Troubles?

I have a 1980 Camaro berlinetta, I am having troubles with my brakes. I have almost no foot pedal, and when I do push the brake pedal it goes to the floor very easily. I checked underneath all the wheels and tires to make sure there was no Fluid on or wetness from fluid on the rims and tires, there was no fluid or wetness found. Also I checked the reservoir for fluid there was plenty in there. Would this be a good indication that my master cylinder is going bad or it is indeed bad? If anyone can help I will apreciate it greatly!!!

Default RE: Master Cylinder Troubles?

It sounds like the master is toast. I just replaced mine a couple of months ago and added some braided stainless hoses. Check the wheel cylinders they can leak but the dust boots will hold it in thats what happened to mine.
