I have a 72 Camaro with a built 350 and a 4 barrel Edelbrock Carburator. When I put an air cleaner on it, it is too high for the hood to close. Does anyone know of a lower profile air cleaner that will fit under the hood without changing out the hood with a scoop?

 

How about some clue on what you have? If your trying a 4" filter try a 3 inch if you have a 3 inch try a2 inch. If you have to go two the two inch you might want to look for a better offset base or a K&N breather top.

 

edelbrock makes that triangle thats really short. worked great on my friends el camino. not high at all, they made it for such reasons, said it in teh instructions.
