RE: lots of questions.
my front seats all had 1/2 inch bolts and the guy before me stripped all the driver's side bolts trying to get them out. So i guess I'm cutting them out and figuring out how to get them out later since I'm replacing the floors pans anway. lol now that u say it, the lightswitch seems like it will be hard to get out. Thanks alot. lol
thanks for the link to the manual links too. This car is missing alot of the stuff up front. Like i have 4 fender reinforcement bars (i think they only have 1 for each side) and I can only find one way for them to go on and it seems wrong lol
btw I have an extra rear glass(with defrosters), two stock hoods and a transmission(turbo 350) I want to trade but would sell.
I want to trade for a front glass, and a manual transmission. I'm gonna have to buy the l88 style hood. Only like 2 ppl make them

RE: lots of questions.
unhook the wires from the switch and its not easy, once you get them unhooked ,you will be able to move it out a little more.take a screwdrver an turn the retainng nut that holds the switch to the bezel.once you get all of this loose you will have alittle more room to move the switch around.there is a spring loaded button on one side, push this all the way in and pull as if you were going to turn the lights on,it should come all the way out.now you can take the bezel out of the way and get to the rest of the gauge panel.when putting the light switch knobback in ,just push it back in and it will lock back into place
