Default Lost some power

I replaced my old leaking carter quadjet carb a month ago with Jet Performance Stage 2 Rochester quadjet. I noticed a lack in low end power I can barely get the tires to roast with braking. I use to not have to brake for a little road roast at all. Now driving down the highway I would say the power feels about the same as before no big deal. What happend to my low end?

Im a novice with cars Im learning as I go. Is there something with the timing and if so what degree should I be in. Fuel mixture? This is in a 68 camaro with a rebuild 350 auto tran.

Thanks

most likely the primary jets are too small for your motor or it may be running a little lean. not too make you feel bad or anything but, i would have went with a holley. they are a little more difficult to get tuned right but in my opinion they are an all around better carb than quad. try to richen it up a little. if you don't have a vacuum guage ... no more than a quarter of a turn. sick
