Looking for headers ... 67 Camaro 350 w/four speed
This car is my Wife's driver car, so I can't have anything dragging the ground over speed bumps and the likes.
I'd like to go with something of "full length" design to get the best benefit, but then we get into the ground dragging issues. Thorley makes a set of Tri-Ys (DTE-376Y1) that are said to fit with the floor shift manual trans ... anyone used these in a 67? I'd be interested in any input as to how low they hang. Are there any others out there for my application that have decent ground clearance?
Most of the "shorties" I have found won't fit with manual Trans.
I have looked at the Sandersen block huggers ... anyone with input as to how these perform, ground clearence would certainly not be an issue there.
I built a nice Aluminum head 350 with a hydraulic roller cam and now need to get the remainder of the system breathing as well as the heads do.
Any and all input appreciated.
