Default leaf springs??

for a stock ride height, does anyone know if 4 or 5 leaf springs are correct on an RS/SS 67 Convertible??? I have the 3 leaf springs, but it just sits to low for the 255 radials, I am considering adding a block to raise it. any ideas would be great!!!!

4 or 5 leaf springs are avalible part number C-7503-2A at $82.95 a piece. They do require the mounting points to be widened. $15/spring is added for shipping.

thanks Norm, is the ride height the same on 4-5 leaf springs?? or are the 5 leaf just stiffer? I figure if it gets too high I could add a lowering block, any ideas? thanks again

They'll be stiffer and they may look higher. It's going to restore the factory ride height. As springs ware out, they tend to sag. Just look at any year Explorer. The *** end is always lower.
