from the description you are giving, you sound to be leaning the TOTAL OPPOSITE of pro-touring. first off, you shouldn't get rid of your inner fenderwells because that makes a car look totally unfinished and under the hood will always be a mess without them. the monster tach will look out of place because that type of stuff is geared to drag racing. the aluminum interior bits will again look totally out of place because it's a cheap look andgeared toward weightsavings for drag racing.

pro-touring is all about smooth and modern, flowing cars, inside and out. you might want to take some time to look atpictures of different type of cars, so you can see what you really want. your thoughts seem to be all over the place, and to be totally honest with you, that's when people end up building cars that just look totally horrible and they end up being very unhappy with them

good luck in your choices

thank you very much..thats kinda exactly the asnwers i expected.see my problem is i love drag racing and the look of like function over form.but the wat things are goin im bever gonna be fast enough or be able to be at the track enough to make it likea drag car.ive been starin at this 81 z28 for like days and its almot exactly wha i wanna do to my car like look wise.but i dont wanna like copy the guy. nd pro tourin just seemes like a better idea cuz it would be a very driveable car and stuff..thx for the answers tho il start lookin more into the pro touring cars

that car is pretty close to the looks ofa pro-touring car. it has the comfortable interior, nothing crazy on the outside, fuel injection and A/C. all that car needs is the suspension and tires and it would definitely be a nice, slightly olderride with all the new car goodies
