Buying a solid donor car that can be used to transfer parts making one great car is much eaiser. It will save you both time and money, and lots of frustration. I'd consider what Joe said and try to buy the whole shell if he'll sell it for the price of replacement panels, as you'll save all the labor and materials.

I agree with the guys. I am in the process of doing this right now. How far is the parts car tore down? There are only a few very minor differances in later second gens. It goes real easy.

changing the entire floor pan is a big job ...keep it simple and doable patch it, do a good job with quality steel and you ll be happy + more importantly youll finish!

yea but the body on that car is rough! really rough! the only good part are the doors but hes already apparently has someone who wants them. i have to get back in contact with him next week because if he cant sell it whole he will part it out... he wants 1500 for it and its way too much
