Default Issues with ss verification. Please help.

Hi I just picked up a 1971 Camaro ss a couple weeks ago from the original owner. The car is in great condition but I have no way of proving it is a real ss. It is not matching numbers but it originally came with th sb 350 270hp. It does not say z27 on the cowl tag as many decoding websites are saying it should have.

I know it sounds like it would be a clone or a fake but I personally know the original owner, and know he would not lie about it being an ss. He has given me everything that originally came with the car including the protect-o-plate and owners manual. He also gave me a bunch of pictures including some of the day he first drove it off the lot. ( he bought the car brand new in June of 1971). The car shows ss emblems in all pictures.

Personally I have no problem believing it's a true ss but I still want something solid to fall back on. Is there anything that will show me for sure ( for my records) that it is an ss
Thank you.

This is some BS, i hate it when people post stupid ads like this. Go and leave your garbage on a different board, or maybe go to a forum where people would actually be interested in this stuff (basketball forum or some sh*t), i would rather buy $30 shoes and spend the rest on my car lol.
