It sounds like the shift linkage is out of adjustment. Or it could be the Park paw is messed up. The first would be something you can do yourself, the second is something inside the transmission.

Oooh! Good catch! Rumble? Exhaust!! Does not go into park? Trans linkage and check the linkage to the shifter under the center console. DO NOT DRIVE UNTIL FIXED! I had a 75 Camaro that would pop out of park into reverse and almost ran my *** over.
