This car was not a manual originally, so I will need to mount pedals, lines, etc. Will the pedal set out of a 95 fit without any huge mods? I know my power brake booster will have to be changed(it's too big), but that's no big deal. I would like to keep the clutch hydraulic if I can. Thanks.

When I first got this car 11 years ago I wanted to make a drag car. I removed the heater and A/C stuff. Now I'm older and softer and want the heat, P/S, and other comforts reinstalled. A/C will come later. 5speedtransmissions.com had a lot of useful info. Thanks!

I just went thru this heater only drill over christmas..mine had a/c and they had welded a piece of tin over the holes, My son and I welded it all up and changed it over to heter only. here's a few lessons learned on this goat rope...

When you put the big block in, you will need to use the engine compartment heater fan housing and core for a BB 396first gen....(the heater only housing are the samefor 1st and second gens) http://www.americanrestorationparts....K-P477C84.aspxit relocates the heater hoses to the pass side center of the heater fan housing. otherwise the hoses come out right into the pass side valve cover. I had a small block heater only housing and just drilled the holes in it to match up to the BB core.
Alsothese guyshttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-...2296QQtcZphoto have a fan housing that elminates the under hood a/c duct so that you can still use the a/c underdash plumbing for vent.(You have to use the a/c heater core with it)...that way you don't have to screw with welding up the firewall like I did when i changed mine from an a/c to a heater only...

I used the TKO600 from 5speedtransmissions.com on mine, love it.
