Inline 6 Anyone?? 6=8 Anyone??
Is there anyone out there working with an inline 6, or a V6, who maybe knows about Clifford 6=8?
Thinking about putting in an intake manifold, carb, headers, (all from Clifford Performance maybe) and better air filter. It already has dual flowmasters. Anybody in a situation remotely similar to me?? [&:]

The Chevy I6 was a fairly popular engine in the old olddays before the small block V8 came out. Dual carb manifolds were common, headers, various cam grinds. Basicallly the same stuff that was done to a V8. They did not like being revved too high, and don't expect too much power out of them as breathing was pretty bad compared to a modern engine.
WELL if you want power from an i6 your going to have to go japp. the skyline motor witch is a rb26 i6. 2.6l dohc twin turbo. it makes alot of power. but at a huge price. ive seen 1800hp rb26s. it would be very intresting to see a 2g with a setup like this. i also know the austrailians still run the i6s like its no one buisness. but them are mostly ford crossworth engines. and if you put a ford motor in a chevy ide have to slap you in the mouth. lol
In my younger days a friend worked over a 250 I6. He used 327 pistons in it, damn thing went pretty good. It had a Holley four barrel on it and was in an old ratty four door Nova. I think there is a crank swap you can do also. Like Pete said, they are low rpm power band engines, so build accordingly.
