Heh,it's funny how in so many ways the big blocks are easier to work on,you'd think it would be the other way around.

Just look how easy spark plugs are to get at on a big block with headers compared to a small block for instance.

Yes! I can put a spark plug socket on the end of a ratchet handle and just spin them out.

if we're talking shoestring budget, my coolent hose was rubbing against one of the mounts and wearing away, instead of fixing it, i cut up some garden hose and wrapped it around so it rubs the hell out of that instead lol, and to open my driverside door...lets just say there's a trick lol

Wow that's insane!!! How can someone like that have such an amazing car, and not care to learn about it? Well at least you saved it from being scrap metal later on down the road of it's life. Good save

what do u mean not learn about it? i know SO much about my car lol, it was only $1,000 and i just replaced the clutch flywheel and all that jazz myself, not to mention full tune up and suspension is half done, the exhaust is the next thing to fix, i just lost both my jobs and have to find cheap-*** fixes for now lol, oh and i rebuild the carb, not bad for 18yrs old i think lol

not you the previous owner! lol i mean really. how dense must you be to let something like that happen to the car? I respect that your putting alot of effort into getting this car in better condition! I know I'm trying on my 76, and on 3.25 an hour, it's not so easy lol. but kudos!!
