i picked up this 78 yesterday had a muncie m20 with new m22 guts in it still wrapped in plastic in the back seat, has a 70 12 bolt posi in it with 3.73 gears, edlebrock rpm intake, aftermarket hd scatter sheild,MT aluminum valve covers, msd box and dizzy, welded in frame connectors,etc... all for 1400 bucks!!!!

Wow, that should save some cash on the build huh? I have never seen a deal that good on CL lol.

 

The M22 and 12 bolt are almost worth that much EACH!

 

What a steal! I thought I was doing good on craigslist with a $120 edelbrock intake/carb. Congrats man.

 

Sounds like you got a nice deal. I got a NICE '88 Vette thru CL. I think the deals are there but you have to be patient and knowledgeable enough to jump on them when they show up -- plus, as my dad used to say, "Cash makes a lot of difference!"
