Hello,
I have an L6 1976 Camaro.

My fuel gauge just bounces around or stays at the low end. It seems to start bouncing when fuel starts to get lower than half. I never know how much fuel I have in it though.

What would be the first steps in finding out what's not working correctly? Some kind of wiring to the fuel gauge? Sending unit?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Fantastic! I was looking for two days for info about my tractor to troubleshoot the fuel gage and I've got all the info I need from you. In my case, the indicator was defective.
