Default How much should I pay

Hey guys/gals,

I'm new to this forum. I'm looking to buy a 1977 Camaro LT from a friend of my dads that I test drove while on vacation. Just looking to get some opinions on what is a fair to good deal. Although I can't provide many details, I'm looking to get a round about number. I have always wanted a first gen camaro but right now with just becoming a new father myself, they don't fit into my price range right now. So a few details about the 1977 that I'm considering:

No rust
Has a fresh 355 small block
A rebuilt 350 turbo transmission
L88 hood
Chip Foose 17 inch wheels
Digital instrument panel
New interior
Subwoofers in the trunk (which I hate and would be getting rid of lol)
The air conditioner and heater work TOO good
Paint job is near flawless minus a few spots

Those are about the only details I can provide seeing as how I was only up there for a short time. He was asking $6000 for it but I got him down to $5400 and he would be delivering it to me from Kentucky to Florida. Below is a link to a photo of the car.

I appreciate any and all feedback!

Dwight

I forgot to mention it has a Summit Racing Carb and air intake and a few other new bells and whistles under the hood. Again, I'm pretty new to all of this. Sorry!

I wouldn't be upset paying 5000 as long as it all works and in good condition. he must have photos ,I'd wanna see first then make a decision, seems a very fair price.

looks fine for the price if you can get it for that delivered ,deal he must have more in it ,there ussally not that clean inside ,depending on the miles it could be worth more an one day the 2 gens will take on more value I think so ,very clean looks like ,I am thinking he needs the money ,couse I see them that clean selling for a lot more now ,there could be some hidden things ,? is it resto ,or original condition ?miles ,they made 6 different versions from the v6 v8 5.0 an 350 ,I seen 78 with 80.000 miles for $9200,00 very similar condition too so think you will have a good one time tells if you know how he drives how he take care of things too then that's good ,ask a few questions like wich engine it did have they all had RS package ?I wonder if the 78 is different couse I seen the one did not have the bumpers like that
