Default How much would you pay for this Camaro?

I am looking for a Camaro and I saw this one on E-Bay the guy lives about 20-30 min away from me maybe even closer so I was thinking of looking at it.

I am looking for a Camaro that I don't have to dump money into fixing it up rather just putting nice new parts on it every now and then.

Myself, if the frame rails and body are solid with the shape of that car I would probably go as high as 8 grand....I'm not saying it's worth that at all, but if you want it get it and dont worry if you pay more then it's worth. Cuz what you decide to pay for it is what it is worth. I've seen solid clean 2nd gen cars here sell around 7 to 10 grand.

Have any tips to check the frame thoroughly? I am actually just thinking of bringing it to my mechanic just to check it out.

I actually saw another Camaro, looks a lot nicer but you can never tell through pictures. This guy wanted 8500

it seems a little fishy 8500 for such a nice looking camaro? Should i stay away?

That one looks about like a 8 k car...looks to be in good shape...there are alot of places to check for rust, but just about all the sheet metal is dirt cheap for these cars... When you check the frame stick your fingers on the vent holes and check there...there will be some rust, but you want to make sure there are no holes.

Also it has a 454.....these cars are great with the big blocks in them....For that price it's a steal, and looks solid from the under side...Check into it and let us know...Hope you get that one.

Yeah I really want it, as a 19 year old though I dont think I am going to get it. I have in my bank account 5000 dollars. The parents aren't willing to help being that I already have a car, And I probably could get 4-5k out of it.

79 camaro 454 Man that 79 is MUCH nicer. Check the rear quarter panels for rust ... on 2nd gen thats the most comon place for rust aswell as the trunk as you may have noticed in the 1st camaro you posted.

Did you notice that with the second one you posted that the seller doesn't have any direct pictures of the front end? Just an observation.
