Default How much is a 79 worth

Hi guys, im new to this web site and I just wanted to ask a quick question. How much is a 79 camaro z 28 with t tops, chevy 350 worth in todays market? It is in mint condition and very clean. How much difference would there be if the #'s were matching or not and how can you tell? Ill try to get a picture up in second.

In these cases you really need to see the car to get an idea of it's worth. If it's low miles, unrestored, & flawless I've seen them go for really high as in $18K. Majority of the time you'll find a great condition '79 restored for $7K-10K.

In my area, in the $8k range for a very nice looking clean one. 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
Or in the $10k range for an extreeeeeeemely nice one. 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
Don't forget, askin' ain't gettin'. And you could probably shop around and eventually get a deal by finding a private owner who's hard up for cash.

1979 aren't all that rare, but they are highly sought after my collecters maybe because it was the highest selling Camaro at a time, and it also beat Mustang.

Keep your options open for a '80 or '81 I personally like those Z28's better with the tri-color side stripes & and outward hood scoop.
