I spend most of my time here or on a couple Cobra sites. Trouble is most of those guys are snoots too but the info is priceless. I just don't get people like that.

I had a trade lined up with one of the popular guys over there awhile back for some vents, we pm'd each other a few times (address' etc.) and he declined because i had no gaskets with mine. i pm'd him again telling him to keep his own because they are all the same from 78-81 and he just never bothered with me and never replies to my pm's on other stuff either and he's on all the time lol. Come to think of it i think i still have all the pm's saved in my inbox lol

One of my pet peeves with the aloofness (on that forum and some others) is it turns off people to our hobby. Sure it wont turn off someone that's been at this forever, but it discourages the younger folks, and makes them lose interest.
We really need to help and be polite in our responses to people, because we never know when we might be dealing with someone new to the hobby who could be swayed either way by our response.
