How fragile is the printed circuit?

I need to remove my gauge cluster on my 1981 to install new dash lights and I need to replace the speedometer cable.

However, I'm scared I'll damage the printed circuit by moving it around, wiggling, and touching.

How fragile is it? Any precautions?

just dont bend it enough to brake or crease it, wiggling and touching is fine.

Any special concerns or tips on un-plugging the wiring from the back? Does the main wiring harness just unplug from the circuit bord or is it bolted on?

Dont remember unscrewing anything besides the tach and speedometer, im pretty sure the wires are just plugs, the circuit isnt that fragile, you should be fine

check this out it might help to show whats all in there lol

You might consider buying a new one before you open it up, mine kinda fell apart. (Florida heat will do that). Good news is they're pretty cheap.
