Default How can I identify an lt1 block?

My brother has an old 350 4bolt block that is supposed to be an lt1. How can I check to see if it truly is? Thanks.

Probably from the heads. All the blocks were pretty much the same when cast.

The whole front cover assembly is unique to an LT1 / LT4. Generally, LT1's are 2 bolt main and LT4's are 4 bolt. The timing cover is it's own like no other small block.

the casting number for the old LT1 was 3932386. some 302's and 327's also had the same casting number that year. Sick
