RE: here's the pics...bought the car...
I love the classic "old school" look... I was out cruising today, and I had about 15 people stop and talk to me, follow me or whatever lol... I know its nice, but i didnt think it was THAT nice... Im happy, some young kid about 6 or so, wanted his picture taken beside the car, so I let him, he was happy, said he wants one just like it one day lol... I remember when I was saying that...

I like it, around our area you do not see many 2nd gens around any more, I am tempted to put ours back on the road... or buy another one thatwould be easier. I am curious of one thing do those tires actually have a tread width of 15"? I have 10.5" wide slicks on mine and its getting close much wider and we will be tubbing it out.

Your 10.5's are probably a much taller tire too, so with that you cant really go much wider becuse then you'd be hitting your fender with the outside of your tires.. These tires are only a 50 series, so there is not too much sidewall...

What brand tire are you running in the back? I have the same sizeon my 69 as you have. Mine are Firestone Firehawk's, but have 10" tread on the pavement. I'm curious as to the big difference. I know there are slight differences in dimensions betweendifferent tire manufacturers, but 5"??
