Help me fast before tomarrow
Hi I really need help on this question. I will be making a yes or no deal tomarrow on this 1971 CAMARO. this is what the guy told me. I believe him but im just hopeing that somone will confirm it. so I dont get scammed. does that moss hurt anything? does it really come off with 409?
It has some exterior Washington state mold on the body but I scrubbed on it and it came off in the spot I used 409 on it to see
Oh and i have one more question. The guy said he would throw in some seats from a 77 camaro.. he says that they will bolt right in and they will be bolted in before i even get ther. is that possible? can 77 camaro seats bolt right into a 71?

It sounds like you basically answered your own question there. If it cleans up and the paint looks good, then no harm has been done. I don't think that the moss itself would eat at the paint. But the moss could allow moisture to remain on the car, which could cause spotting, staining, or rust. Take some wax with you too and try it on the cleaned area to see if it shines back up.

It doesn't take long here in WA to get a little green spoogy on a car that's sitting outside so it's no big deal if it hasn't been out for too long.
That said I'd look it over well for rust, look inside the trunk, check for wet carpet and if it is look under the car at the floorpan very closely.
Check around the windshield and rear window for paint bubbles along the trim pieces that could be rust coming up through the paint.
Look close at the rear fender wells for signs of bondo'd up rust.
Where in WA are you located?
