Default Help me decide

Well, i've been working alot of overtime lately (ALOT) and probably more to come for quite a while.

With all this extra money lying around i've decided to beef up the ol' gal.

I was thinking of dropping a supercharged454 or 502 big block in her, and all the goodies to go with it. Subframe connectors, new tranny, drivetrain, yadda yadda. However i really can't decide what size engine to go with, preferable a big block, but i've seen several convincing arguements for 383 strokers and what not.

So if anyone has any insight in this issue (And im sure most of you do) give me some ideas

Yeah i was leaning more towards the 454 because they are alot cheaper!

also easier to get parts for it looks like.

Founda sweet 475 on ebay for 4 grand, turn key.

Be a burly engine if i supercharged it.

Yeah i've heard good things about those little engines, lighter, can pack quite a wallop if done right.

Think i could squeeze 600-700 hp out of a 383 if i did it right. (Im not too turbo-savvy)

This car will be for cruising with homies at night and/or draggin so we'll see about that.

I always have been a fan of the big blocks... Cause they are big >.>

Get a huge *** blower and chop a hole in my hood.

I've always heard there's no replacement for displacement. Go big block! Sure would be cool with a side mount blower to keep the profile low and make a sleeper.

ah, big block= overrated, whats an ls motor, a stroker, you get big block tourque in a motor that will turn rpms too, an the turbo tricks the motor into thinkin its a huge displacement, thats why lingenfelter vettes have em

Who the hell wants a sleeper [8D]

And to riceeater, how much does a 383 TT set up cost you think?
