Default Help me again.

I have a 1979 chevy camaro z28 that I'm having new floors put in and the
question that I have is how the hell do you cut out the old floor to put the new one in? I looked under the car where the back cross frame bracket goes across the floor but it goes right to the lip of where the floor is next to the rocker panel and I can't tell if it welded on that lip or how it is mounted. How can you cut out the old floor without disturbing the cross
frame? Because the new floor has the lip on the edge of it that is foled down and it looks like you have to break the welds on the end of each side(the driver and passenger side) to pull the floor out and then spot weld it back in place after the new one is put in. What kind of sense does that make? Please explain to me why and how it is done. Also, I'm looking for a complete wiring harness for my camaro, I need the fuse box along with all of the engine compartment, ac, radio, wipers, the whole nine yards, etc. No one has it and don't tell me that painless makes it because
I just contacted them and they told me no such harness exist for that year of camaro. I have hit every site known to man I cannot find anyone who sells that kind of wiring harness. Am I going to have to go to the Chevy dealership or am I just stuck with fixing the wiring I have already?

Thank, Philbert

hey, im also cutting out the floors in my 79 z and if you're talking about what i think you're talking about then you have to break the spot welds in order to pull the floor off of that cross brace, also be sure to check your rear frame rails once you've pulled out some of the floor because i found that the passenger side rail was busted, fortunatly i know someone who has a new frame for me, hope this helps, good luck!
