Ok i figured out my car has 456 gears or lower and i red line at like 60 mph in fourth gear so i need to change the gears in it what should i change it to ?????I want something i can cruise with but still kick some but at the track.I also need alittle help to figure out this slide a link traction system i dont know alot about that either.

 

i would say 3.73's or keep the gear you have and get a overdrive.i dont know what the name of the unit is called but they make a overdrive unit that bolts on to the back of your tranny.then you have the best of both worlds,low gear for the track and high gear for cruising

 

don't thing gear venders makes an add on od for a 4 speed manual...

I switched the to tremec to get the OD..it works well, however for your use i would agree to just simply changing to 4.10's or 3.73 will probably be your least costly option and get you into the ball park based on your needs.

do you know what type 4 speed you have?

from your other posts it sounds like it was set up to do the 1/8 mile..
