Default heater fan removal

New to the forum. Can anyone tell me if there is a better way to remove the heater fan out of my 69 other than removing the fender? It's starting to "squeek" when turned on and it's driving me crazy!

The angle and the location of heater fan points towards the fender. You can get to all the bolts, but the unit won't come out due to hitting the fender before you can pull it vertically.

you can remove it by rolling the inner wheel well out of the way. remove all the bolts that hold it in and every thing atached to it like the battery tray, loosen the lower fender bolts and you should be able to move it enough to get to the blower, its not easy but can be done, I have done it quite a few times

I appreciate the input, I'll give it a try and swing the inner fender out of the way tomorrow.
