Default heater core

WTB heater core for 72 Camaro 396 w/o A/C. Anybody have one on the shelf? Anybody know if 69 big block heater core can be modded to work?

thanks Everett, I'm just boxing up the one they sent me for return, I was encouraged that they had a listing for BB w/o a/c however the part was clearly for a small block car. have to keep looking.

you gotta watch the new heater cores now. they make them out of aluminum and the cores don't in the heater box correctly. you're better off trying to find an old copper core.

Can the present core be repaired?
It would be a better repair because as stated, new ones are alum, some of them, and thinner in thickness.

Probably take it to radiator shop if you want to repair it.
