Default headliner glue?

I'm getting my headliner and plastic board from National Parts Depot tomorrow. It says on the site to use 3M 8080 spray adhesive and not 8090 because its too strong and can melt the plastic board. I've heard that the 3M adhesive doesn't last that long and to use landau top and trim adhesive but I don't know if its too strong either. What adhesive should I use?

Do I glue the board on too? or Do i just put the trim/moldings that go around the top over the edge of the board? but then whats stopping the middle from bowing then? i thought i had to glue the board on too but some people are saying not too, so im not sure what i should do

The dome light holds the board on, not glue.

3M 8080 is the preferred choice and also manufacturers recomendation. Do not glue the board up. It is held in place by dome light, visor mounts, front and rear interior trim.
Hint; spray the glue on and apply the cloth a little bit at a time as you move from front to back. An extra set of hands is a big help also.
