I need help. I'm having no luck finding headers that will fit my '69. I've got a small block and a Saginaw (825), quick ratiopower steering box. Apparentlyatough combination to findheaders for. I've tried Summit's headers and thenHooker Comp's,Summit's tech deptassured meeitherwould fit, neither did. I called Holley (Hooker)to ask what style's they make to fit this combo, they said they don't and didn't know who might.Does anyone know who makes an "off the shelf header" thatwill work and not cost $1K?
The tech dept said it could possibly be I have the wrong motor mounts or mymounts are "sagging", the interference between header and the steering box is about an inch, seems like a lot sag to me.
I'd greatly appreciate any help with this, I'd like to get it back on the road, fully "exhausted".
