Got a pic of your Camaro? Lets see it!
Yes, I did all the welding. I could have taken the car to work (I manage a resto shop), but this one had special circumstances and meaning to me. I decided early on that every nut and bolt would be done by me. Had plenty of offers from the guys at work, not to mention a lot of visits at night/weekends.
If you have not welded before, especially on body panels, you should seek out some help. Even though the handle is in a pretty stout section of the door, it can warp easily.
However long the car takes you do not settle for less than what you want. Better to do it right the first time.

Here is a YouTube video of my 1975 Camaro that I bought recently.
It has an inline 6- all of 105 HP!!! - my slow Camaro! runs really good, new interior. Thinking about going Clifford 6=8 performance with intake manifold, carb, headers, better air filter (already has dual exhaust flowmasters) and keep the engine. Why dont I drop in a bigger engine? Besides the fact that I couldn't afford it right now I guess because I love the car and it's smooth engine-it runs great, (just hit 100k miles) and I want to help it breath not rip it out. Maybe also because it would be different than most. Also, kind of an experiment in performance, see what happens. Haven't got a quote yet on the the work, though. Anyone have any experience with Clifford Performance Parts?
Would love to hear what you think!!
AWESOME CARS! Thanks for the pics...
