is there a big difference between buying the GM side mirrors or the reproductions? I was noticing on ClassicIndustries they have the GM's listed at 230 compared to 30 for the repro... how much quality difference is there? and is it worth spending the extra money on the GM's? THanks.

 

If the aftermarket are GM reproduction in look and style, I'd go for them at the price difference, 230 is a lot to pay for a mirror.

 

Somtimes the fit and quality is not the best on a repro but for two bills cheaper I would take my chances and give them a shot.

 

for what it is worth i have known several people who have ordered from classic industries and was very pleased with quality and price... I myself am buying most of my interior for my 78 from them too..
