Gasket seal on the headers? I wouldn't. the gaskets will seal when you tork the bolts down.

No gasket sealer.Just header gaskets. No need to grind on them either. The sealing surface is fine, just some spatter but its not even close to the seal.

I would go with the ones for the camaro. The rubber snubber needs to fall in a certain spot under the spring eye. Have you seen the ones Vall (1971BB427) made
? Slick, really slick. Dead easy to make too.

So you think I should go with the x-f body ones instead of the universal ones?. And no I haven't, but right now I dont have alot of fabing material to do em myself, I've got to get my miller ready to use and get everything I need it for done before it goes back to my grand father in november, right now all i need to weld is my exhaust but I've been busy and haven't even got my headers on yet hopefully I'll have some today or tuesday when Im off work for a dentist appointment. But on those fbody ones the look really solid, with that style i just take the u bolts on the rear end loose and put em under the spring right? well basically anyway.
Thanks for all the help and inputs guys.
