Fuel Injection Swap Options
What fuel injected engines would be better to drop into my 73' camaro? which would be easier, better for performance, etc. Im thinking about taking out the current 302 and putting it into my boat and swaping a fuel injected in instead.
Some of you may think i should keep it carburated but its my daily driver to both school and my job and i need it to be as fuel efficient as it can be, but then again i want it to kick some hardcore *** aswell. [8D]

I would go with the ram jet 350 from gm performance parts. The motor produces 350 horsepower and 400 ft-lbs of torque out of the box. Here is the link to gm performance parts crate motors. http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/Pa...l.jsp?engine=0You could also go with an lt or ls series motor, which you could probably find used out of a 4th gen camaro for quite a bit cheaper than a new motor. Good luck with it whatever you end up doing.
I stuffed a LT1 350 from a 95 Buck roadmaster with the 4l60e and full computer...into a 74 Monte Carlo SS, I run 2.56 gears..gets 21 with my lead foot running around town and 25 on the open road with full cat dual exhaust..(at 70mph). otherwise stock...
there are many companies that sell the wiring harness conversions or who will convert your harness for you.

Also if milage is the issue, you might think about just changing the tranny to something with an Overdrive (TREMRC or 700). to slow the motor down...
