Hmm I might have to look into those...i mean the glasspacks are fine for now only because when they burn out its nothing to just slap a new pair on. But when I get the exhaust system on i dont want to have to be pullin that off just to replace em.

Wow didnt know you would be able to do a si/do. Good to know. When you decide to do the swaps what headers will you use? Cuz correct me if I'm wrong, you wont be able to use your orignal manifolds to me it a di/do.

Not sure I follow exactly, apologies. You can choose which mufflers to use for your application. Mine just happened to have a single pipe from manifolds back to the muffler and then out to dual tailpipes. I bought a si/do muffler and new tailpipes for the rest of the summer is all. I'll probably use Hedman headers, but it really shouldn't matter which headers/manifolds you use, it's from them to your mufflers that will be dual exhaust when I swap motors and use new headers. If I had a di/do muffler, I could reuse it at that point. I'll need new mufflers.

All Chevy exhaust manifolds will work with dual out to mufflers. Headers are a great improvement, but some people don't like the extra under hood temp from headers, or want a more stock appearance.
