Default Flowmaster Super 44 Series

Hey all, I just got my first car, a 2000 v6 3.8L camaro. First off, its sweet (even though its a v6) and I love it so far.

the first thing I wanted to do was make it loud!

I talked to the owner of the auto shop that I bought it from, and he suggested I go for the flowmaster 40 series mufflers. I know the 10s are louder but I think they'd give a raspy sound. and the super 44 series are supposedly better than the 40 series, so I think thats what I'm gonna go with. Does that sound like a good idea?

I've read some reviews and the flowmaster super 44 series seems like the best muffler to go with.

I have a friend running cherry bomb glasspacks in his f150 but it really isnt that loud.

Eventually I think I wanna get a high flo cat and probably a y pipe, I think thatd open it up a little more...

any feedback is awesome!!

so first dont go with any 40's of any kind (includes 44's) unless you have a v8 you will not like it. now if you want a good tone, so when you pull up to a light you dont sound like a honda, go with the flowmaster 80's series give a good tone below 3g. now basically any exhaust you put on will sound raspy after a sertin RPM but thats just cause of the inerds of a 3.8. so honest opinion go headers, catback flow 80's, maybe later down the road if you want more power and sound get some cams and heads heres a vid of a damn nice soundin v6 camaro ▼
