I wanted to get some opinions other than mine for an exhaust replacement. I will be installing a true dual x-pipe exhaust on my camaro. I know flowmasters are louder at idle and magnaflows sound good at higher rpm...so which one is best?

 

not the answer you're looking for, but have you heard the Thrush welded muffler? Looks like a flowmaster but with it's own sound. I like it. Fairly inexpensive too.

 

I agree with old guy..but out of the two i say Magna they sound better on v6

 

DO NOT GO WITH THE FLOWMASTER...I REPEAT... DO NOT GO WITH THE FLOWMASTER. The incar resonation is annoying. It gets so dam loud u either turn the stereo up louder, or give urself a headache from the noise. I regret going with FLOWMASTER, wish I had chosen MAGNAFLOW.

I went with a Flowmaster as well.. and regret it. Magnaflow is the way to go.

 

I have a flowmaster series 40 and i like it with the windows up and tops in you can bearly hear it although I just have a flowmaster catback and you would have true dual, the only bad thing is pretty raspy. Just my .02 cents
