F Bomb
Not really sure what you're asking? The Camaro F body designation, or is this question just over my head? Never heard them called "F bombs" before?
F-Bomb was just the name of the car in the movie. It's a signature twin turbo car (73 Camaro) by Nelson Racing Engines that makes 1500hp at the wheels. The F is the F body designation and the bomb because it was the bomb. Just an interesting play on words.
The "F-bomb" belongs to David Freiburger, Cheif Editor of Hotrod Magazine. This is David's personal car which we built completely at Nelson Supercars to show what can be done with a high tech twin turbo Nelson Racing Engine... and a car designed around it. The 1973 Camaro has been caged, minitubbed, completely stripped to bare metal and powder coated the entire car. The motor is a 406 twin turbo that makes 1540 hp and 1527 lbs of torque. The F-Bomb was debuted at the 2006 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
