Eva's finally home

Eva's finally home
I finally got her in the garage she belongs in. Can't wait to get a carb on her and fire her up. She's a 79, I assume an RS becuase of the rear spoiler and wheels but am not totally sure. If anyone else can identify exactly I would like to know. It's hard to tell in the pic, but the grilles are chrome and so are the headlight and marker bezels in case that helps identify her.

from the picture, that car is nothing more than a base model Camaro, and thevin # is showing that it has a 305 under the hood.the chrome also speaks of the base model
BTW..the RS came with aV6

I know it was built with a 305, but after nearly 30 years and who knows how many owners that could change. I cleaned off the rear of the block and found a casting number of 3970010. As fas as I can tell that's a 350 from 69-80, a 69 302 from a z28 camaro or a 69 327 from a truck. Anywhere else I can look to further narrow it down?

don't get me wrong, I'm not insulting your car at all, but just trying to point out how that would be kind of far-fetched for soemone to do that, that is all

I doubted it was either a 327, or the 302 based on odds alone. Insult me you didn't lol. I am aware it's a nothing specialcar, I just wanted it haha. I took it as is no questions asked. I was happy to find out it wasn't a 305, I just wasn't sure what it could be. If by some dumb reason it ended up being a 302, the motor would be sold haha. I have found mention of some casting near the water pump and the head to identify the date of manufacture. Do I have to move the power steering pump and bracket to see it or am I just looking in the wrong place? Also it's a light blue from valve covers to block in case that helps. Thanks again for everyones input.
