The resto on my '67 convertable continues, and I'm now ready to plunk down the cash for the engine and trans. I've been poring over the new Performance Parts catalog, and today priced the "Turn-Key" engine/trans packages I'm interested in...would like any feedback.

It'll either be the 350HO turnkey, or the ZZ-4 turnkey, mated to the 4L60 4-sp. auto trans.

Guys, I'm looking for a comfortable, driveable cruiser here, not a hot rod. The price difference between the 350HO and the ZZ-4 is around 400 bucks, and about 25HP/25ft.lb., so I'm interested in your takes on smoothness, idle quality, etc.
