I JUST GOT A 71 Z28!!!! its ****in bad...my motor and trans have 98 miles on them...plz inform me how to properly brake in my 350 (i just drive really easy...but idk)

idk...its just a gm crate 350...

 

yeah, different types of rings can take different amounts of time to seat properly. Camaro69's post is a pretty good one to follow for motors in general though. Steel rings will usually seat a little faster than moly and chrome moly rings.

 

yeah, im just gonna take it easy on it while im restoring it anyways...if i wanna **** around ill use my buddys 74 vega wagon, its got a 400hp 400sb and a rockcrusher...scary car...
